Crochet your own garment with this beginner friendly pattern. Shrug can be worn as a swimsuit cover up, over a tank top to prevent a sun burn, or over a summer dress for added warmth once the sun goes down! This pattern does not require any seaming. It is a great opportunity to learn a new, uncommon stitch - the picot trellis stitch. Beginners and advanced crocheters alike would enjoy using this new stitch, and it would be a great addition to any crocheter's repertoire.

"Works up relatively quickly and easily. this was my first big project/wearable and the directions were very beginner-friendly, clear and concise, and the shawl itself is beautiful! because the pattern is so simple, it is very easy to add any custom embellishments you might want, or change the size of the shawl depending on the size of the wearer. LOVE this pattern and have made two already!"
